Tracking the world as our privacy slips into the past…
A lot of the problem with loss of privacy is people don’t understand the threat, or don’t take it seriously. Several studies on users of FaceBook have been done, showing how poorly people manage their settings on FaceBook.

As technology spreads into ever more interesting corners of our lives, our privacy shrinks. Each of us are being increasingly objectified, treated as an object to be studied, our motivations figured out, and the correct inputs to make us move in a particular direction determined and cataloged.
The EU has been funding a project to gather information from social networking sites, and build a complete picture of someone’s beliefs and attitudes.

As a blogger, and someone who works in technology, I’m very aware of the trajectory of human relationships, especially the concept of Web 3.0, and the online communities people are touting. There is a cautionary note here, however.
